Families will walk through woodland, pond edge, and stream-side habitats at dawn to observe birds during fall migration. Participants will learn the GISS method to identify birds by their general impression, size, and shape, using their eyes, ears, and binoculars. The walk is led by a trained birder and takes place rain or shine.
